He's one of the most passionate professor ever! He knows his material so well that he somehow makes the class interesting. Attend class and take notes, don't rely on his powerpoint, they're only there as a framework. I recommend writing the first essay (based on your mark, decide if you want to write the 2nd one). The final exam is tricky but doable.

Tino has the difficult job of making educational policy interesting and he does it really well. He has a dynamic voice that is difficult to fall asleep to. His classes run like clock-work: he starts and ends on time with a 5-min break. If you show up to class and take notes, you'll be fine. Use his PWPs as a framework, don't depend on them for info

Tino, is the best professor I had so far. He has so much knowledge, & always gives both side of the story. He is very caring, and is genuine towards his teaching & students. You MUST attend all his classes to do well. He has fair marking system, and if you attend all classes and do the readings you will do well. I would def take him again!

Tino was an absolutely fantastic professor. He took a class that could have been the most boring subject in the world (policies in Quebec Education) and made it easily my favorite class of the semester. I would high recommend attending lecture if you want to do well. His evaluation scheme was unique and gave students choices that helped us do well.

He makes the class really interesting, class attendance I would highly suggest as the material he goes through is fast and can be confusing if you are not there for his explanations. I found the midterm essay to be easy if you attend class(also it is open book). I found the final exam very challenging and tricky. I studied a lot and found it hard.

His grading is fair but the lectures themselves can seem long and boring at times. He tries his best to be helpful and is a caring professor. If you are a non education student you will probably find the final which is multiple choice to be easier than the in class midterm essays which are much more difficult.

Best teacher I had in my life. He is very clear and helpful, he cares for his students and does everything he can to help them reach success. The lectures are interesting and he is very friendly and funny. The material is quite heavy but he makes it easier to learn. Go to the lectures, and study well for the final and you'll get results !

This teacher was very informative and knowledgeable about the subject. The best way to ace this class is to attend the lectures all the time. 85% of the material tested is directly from the lectures. The coursepack is there to guide you. There are two optional essays during the semester and one mandatory final exam. The final exam is challenging.

AMAZING PROF! Take him if you get the chance. Totally interesting, knows a ton of knowledge and keeps everyone engaged. Had absolutely zero interest going into the class and now I'm sad that it's over. Very fair, nice, funny and genuinely lovely. A prof everyone must experience.

The best teacher ever, he knows his subject and even though he has a class of 400 he makes you feel you are the only student in the class. He inspired me so much to become a teacher like him. Subject and student - centered.The evaluation are very fair and his purpose is for you to succeed and we all feel it. Thank you teacher.

Tino is an excellent professor. Although I wasn't too excited about policies in the Quebec education system going into this class, it ended up being one of my favourite classes. Final exam is very easy if you study well and go to his lectures. He is entertaining and funny in class as well. MUST TAKE!

Tino is a great teacher and has a lot to offer his students. He teaches the material very well and makes history fun to learn. He gives two in class essays and one final. My advice is to do the three of them! Take this teacher, do your part &you will not regret it!
