Her class wasn't all that bad. I have to admit, if I tried, I would've gotten an A. I didn't even come to class 1/2 the time and I still managed a "C" by turning all the work and coming to her study sessions. She has open book, open note exams as well as group work that leaves alot of room for getting a decent grade. I say take her if you're a student who is mildly to highly interested in the topic... Otherwise, you'll feel like the class is dry. Good luck.

The class was generally very easy...basically, you have the notes, and yo've aced the tests. A lot of points go towards classwork (a.k.a watching lots of videos). This class is easy, yet fascinating, and Tisa is a pretty entertaining instructor, she relates a lot of the text to her personal experience

Tisa is the nicest teacher--EVER! Class was laid back and boring at times. Quizzes are group. Tests are open note/open book--but that doesn't mean it was an easy A! The questions were confusing and not something you can answer without rereading everything prior to the tests.

Take good notes and pay very good attention to her lecture. Class isn't very hard but u really have to read the stuff and pay attention. She grades fairly easy on the term paper. I managed a B though i wrote it the night before. Exams are a bit tricky.

nice teacher. term paper is worth a lot and doesnt take that long to write.easy group quizzes. u really have to read everything tho, and the midterm and final are really HARD! really tricky questions and ours wasnt take home and it was very difficult even tho it was open book open notes

Professor Walker is really nice and she really knows Anthropology really well. She gets really exited about Anthropology and it makes me really exited about the subject. Her tests and quizes aren't very hard as long as you just apply yourself.

Very knowledgable about older cultures, and goes over many different interpetations of the same thing. Lectures are very comprehensive and enjoyable. A handful of videos. All exams were take-home essays and the final research paper was fun.

she's a really great teacher, she's really relaxed and is always ready to help if you need help with something. Her tests and quizes are not very hard just do what she tells you and read the material and you'll do alright.
