Only has two test and said she would give a study guide but gave us a paper telling us to fill in the bubbles completely to multiple choice questions and make sure not to erase Because it's a computer grading it and so on, it's not a study guide. I'm sorry but you should know those things in high school, we don't need a reminder.

Extremely knowledgeable and shares personal stories and experiences that usually back up her point. She has lecture notes for every class, and you will take a lot of notes. It is ALL lecture. Tests are only on what is covered specifically in class, though. Read your texts and listen in class, and you should do just fine.

Do not take this instructor if possible! She always shows up late to class, her internet never works so the syllabus is never updated, her lecture are unprepared and she often goes off on tangents. A big disappoint.

Got to read lots of Shakespeare, which I wanted. Lecture did not always connect with the reading. Lots of literary criticism. Her husband taught half the time and sadly class was more enjoyable for me then. Hard to stay on top of readings and papers and essays, but lots of info is learned and covered.

As I understand it, Dr. Baumlin was an excellent teacher at one time. However she has thus far underwhelmed most of us. She is not in control of her class, she rants about unrelated topics and is often too sick to come to class. For this I am truly sorry, but maybe it's time to retire.

I'm sure that at one time Tita B lived up to the hype, but this is no longer the case. Since her illness her mind is greatly affected & she is very disorganized. She goes of on rants & it's impossible to keep her on task. Halfway through the semester we are more than a week behind where we should be. I dont reccomend at all.

(2008)Ms. Baumlin is passionate about this class. She was very lenient on exams, all of which were take home essays. She let many students redo their tests after the due date. We took quizzes almost every day on the reading and what she said in class. Read and pay attention. She forgets some common words at times, but is still very clear. Take her!

It really wasn't worth my time to go to class every other day. She is very disorganized and goes off on a lot of tangents. You might learn something, but only if you make an effort to understand her babble. I nearly fell asleep every day. Not someone I would take again.

Dr. Baumlin is such a sweet lady. She is very knowledgable and understanding when personal issues arise. It is important to attend class- her lectures can be slightly disorganized but full of great information. I would definitely take her again.

This is one of the best professors you can take in the world. She is highly knowledgeable on what she teaches and gives great details and life lessons. Tita Baumlin is one of the best professors I have had while in college. I love her lectures and her personality that shines through. Her 20+ years of Shakespearean experience as well as personal experience adds SOOOO much to the class. I loved Baumlin!

I like her plenty, she is very nice and flexible, which is good because I did find her class a little hard. You will have to read every single book cover to cover and fast! She gave us 2 weeks to read a 800 page book.
