Todd, who on the first day of class told us to call him Jeremiah Big Sky Johnson, is a caring, intelligent and very fair instructor. He was clear about what he wanted from our papers, and was easy with deadlines. Our English 101 class had only 3 essays, and they felt like they served a purpose. If youre taking English 101, you MUST take him.

Todd was a pretty good prof! Course work wasn't too heavy and he answers any questions you have! Basically all the class was was building your paper and posting your drafts on a forum and peer reviewing! I also took ENGL 128 with him!

He is honestly a terrible teacher. He doesn't specify on anything. He just tells you to read a whole bunch of the book, then random assignment. And ends everything with check with the writing center and ask questions. Then when you do ask questions, he is so rude and treats you like you're stupid.

If you want an extremely difficult eng 101 then this is the class for you. He is difficult when it comes to grading and it takes a month to receive a grade. He tells you to go to the writing center for help and won't do anything to help you. Don't take this class if you actually want to learn anything important for other English class...

There. Is. No. Feedback. None. The guy does not teach, he asks you to go to the Writing Center at GRCC to get any feedback or help. All the other comments about him being disorganized and slow to grade are spot-on. To be fair, he is not a nitpicky grader and his material is good, but his lessons are straight from the book.

Todd always responds to emails, and the assignments are easy. I probably only needed to log-in and do something twice a week. The instructions are clear and he is an easy grader. 1010 would definitely recommend:)

Online class is a legit easy 4.0. I finished all assignments due for the week in 2-3 hours in 1 day. Though, he is kind of unorganized and a slow grader; but he definitely wants you to succeed. You need the book for sure, but you will be doing minimum reading. Would recommend.

His assignments are easy, the instructions are clear enough, and the deadlines are pretty relaxed. An easy A for sure. Although, he grades pretty slow, but that is the only issue I have with this class.

I love his content, but his class is unorganized, he NEVER returns emails in a timely manner ( a must online). His answers are abrupt and not that helpful. I would say he is probably working on his masters, my experience is that this unorganized unavailable online teacher is always working on a masters. Block them from doing these classes!

I took this class online. The inconsistency that Professor Johnson has is kind of appalling. There were constantly different due dates posted on different worksheets or the syllabus or the forums. Also, it is kind of obvious that he teaches straight from the book. There is no creativity. Didn't even change up the numbers for questions.

I took this class online, and while I did not have a ton of contact with Professor Johnson, every time I did email him with a question he responded promptly. My only complaint about him was how long it took him to grade assignments, and especially the essays. There is a lot of reading, but it is an English class! Overall, I recommend.

I took this class online and he was a great teacher but he lacked some communication on deadlines. He also added questions for on a quiz due friday for readings due monday- deadlines were always changing. Luckily it was an easy class though. For our final essay we turned in rough drafts and he didn't give us feedback... didn't like that!

Mr Johnson was very helpful when you asked him questions,but when it comes to grading he was really nitpicky.I think that he prides himself in having few students that get 4.0s in his class. ISB
