Comment:

One of the best biology professors at Martin. He makes you work for a grade, but is fair and extremely helpful. If you study and come to class, you'll be fine. He really cares about students and wants you to learn and be successful. I would highly recommend Dr. Blanchard.

Dr Blanchard always keep us laughing. He always found a way to explain example were we could understand. He also gave study guides for all of his exams. He gave a lot of small exams instead of a few exams with lots of information, that way you have so much to try and study/ cram before the exam. He is a great bio teacher.

He is a great teacher! He is interesting to listen to and explains things well. The tests aren't hard, but be sure to do well on them. We only had one out of class assignment and two short quizzes.

Dr. Blanchard is a sweet man. He tries to get us to understand what he's talking about, but he's very vague in his questions. Don't buy the book. He never used it, and it was just a 200 dollar waste in my room. His tests come from his power points, but he likes to add tricky questions in there, so take good notes as well. Wouldn't take him again.

He is a great teacher... but don't think you are just going to fly by. You have to study and grade is just based on test. However test come just from powerpoint notes so its ok if you miss class. I would take him again even though I got a B

Dr. Blanchard is a very good professor. He keeps you intertained and participating, gives very helpful examples during lectures, gives study guides (which is rare), and has study sessions before every exam and will stay as late as you need him to. One helpful tip: on his exams, when he asks you to explain,he means explain to an alien.

I usually do very well in the sciences, and I absolutely hated this class. He gives a study guide that is useless, and the tests are very tricky. I studied for hours for his tests and couldn't pass one. Don't take this man for class!!!!

I think that he is a horrible teacher. He seems like a great guy when you first meet him but as class progesses and you begin to take test you will find out he is evil!! his test are extremely hard and doing the study guide does not help much. He also does not give other assignments beside test. I get bored in his class and do not do well.

Hard!!! He tries to trick on the test! They are mostly multiple choice, but the answers are tricky. You can only miss 4 days! I tried really hard in this class and got a D!
