I couldnt stand this class. Shes funny, sure, but shes goes off topic all the time, her PowerPoints are mediocre, and you have to google the answers to the study guide because of said PowerPoints. She offers a lot of homework, but some of it is very hard if you dont live on campus (Impression papers). Not hard to pass, just annoying overall.

Comment:

Dr. Parrish is a genuinely nice professor. She even gives an exemption on the final if your grade is high enough. However, beware an exemption means that you get a 90% on the exam, so it is not really exempted (that's what happened to me). Besides her grading being unclear, she is a great professor who will help you with anything you need.

LOVE HER!!!!!!! I made a D on all tests except the final and STILL passed due to the 93 pts worth of extra cred I had. Do the drawing, go to events, and do the ONE extra cred assignment she has worth 100%, and you'll make an A. She's an easy grader. Take her!!!! Very funny & knowledgeable too. She takes roll for a grade, but I signed and left lol

She doesn't know how to work moodle so you don't know to much about your grades, she doesn't really E-mail you back, but her class is easy and fun. She gives you easy projects for extra points. All the powerpoints are online. I would take her again. She is the EASIEST fine arts teacher, get her if you can!!

I absolutely love Dr. P! I ended up with a 98 A in her class. Attendance is worth a lot, but class is so much fun, you WANT to go. If you make all As on your tests and turn in all assignments, you are exempt from the final. She really makes you love the arts. She is very passionate and acts out great monologues!

Dr. Parrish is an great teacher! I loved her class. I'm not a big fan of art and all that but I really enjoyed her class. Dr. Parrish is very helpfully. She will allow you to watch a movie from the list instead of going to a play. She gives reviews before each exam. She's very passionate about art and makes class very intersting.

Dr. Parrish is an extraordinary teacher, and the worlds greatest story teller. Dr.p definately cares about her students progress and making the class interesting and fun. I'll admit that it is hard to take note in her class because she is such a great story teller that when she talks nothing else seems to matter. She is an amazing teacher.

She is the most caring and considerate professor ~ EVER! She gives so much bonus and projects to help boost your grade. If anyone fails this class while taking her ~ you are an idiot! She lets you make up any work that you miss and 20% of the grade is just showing up for class. You can't beat that! You will love this woman!

I had her for fine arts last fall and she is a great teacher. Her class is fun and interesting, I learned a lot. Tests are easy, I just went to class and hardly ever studied and got A's. She gives a lot of bonus work and projects to help bring your grade up. I highly recommend taking her for this class!!

Does not use the textbook AT ALL. She talks a lot about a bunch of stuff that is never on the test. She gives study guides with words and tell you to "Google" them. If you do that and study what each term means, you will make an A on the test. She gives projects that are simple and fun to help your grade. Good teacher, fun-kinda quirky.
