Professor Casciero is probably the best acting teacher I've ever had. His style of teaching focuses more on vocals and movement, which really helps with exploring how to portray a variety of characters. Though he can be a bit passive aggressive sometimes, he cares a lot about how well his students do. If you show up and do your part, you'll do well

Comment:

Casciero is a sweet guy, granted he is more of a movement and vocal teacher rather than a general acting teacher. This showed in the amount of various movement exercises he warmed us up with. As long as you show up prepared on your performance date and are genuinely putting some effort behind your performance, you'll breeze through the class.

Not the typical theater 101 class and it might seem weird at first but it's an easy A. He expects you to be prepared and turn in things when they are due. He is really passionate about the subject, just do what he tells you to do and you'll be fine.

I took MIMING with Tom. It is an extremely fun class, but he will get irritated if you do not meet and practice outside of class. You have group performances instead of tests. I look it as an art credit. I would suggest this class to anyone.

I took Tom many years ago & am now passing the legacy on to others. I learned a lot form this professor & found his class of equal challenge & enjoyment. You'll grow in your training, he pushes his students & won't accept mediocrity in performance. If you have a willingness to learn you will grow by leaps & bounds.

A very centered man with a skewed perception of humor. Very playful at times, at others a real dousche. Either way, he knows his stuff and I learned a lot from him. The stretches and exercises were a waste of my time.

Very strange concepts in the class that he expects you to understand. Class can be difficult due to not understand these concepts. And you CAN NOT have any excuses for anything, he will not take them.
