He is very knowledgeable and the pace of the class is very fast, if you skip too many classes you will struggle. There are plenty of hands on labs and you are required to work with a partner (choose wisely), i would suggest sitting at the front and arriving early. If learning is your priority, you won't mind the pace and work required to do well!

He doesn't set up the class, like how he says in the syllabus. The way he teach is about 2 hours of a lecture, 20 minutes of lab, and 10 minutes for the quiz. BTW makes sure you ask for the quiz because he goes really slow on giving it out and be really persistent on asking to do the labs because you wont be able to finished them all on time.

This class was easy for me since I've been in the energy consulting field for 15 years. For those without any knowledged of energy management/solar/electricity they may find this class hard. It would still be worth the time. This should be a manditory class for a degree. Thanks Tom

Insightful, but eccentric. Jives frequent tests, which he does not write. Will not allow you to make up work regardless of excuse. (I missed three classes, with doctors note, and acquitted of crime improsoned for and couldn't make up work)
