Professor Hilton is off the charts awesome in the most professional way. He is very specific on the first days of class on what you need to do to be successful. He gives a few key things to do to make an A and if you do them you will be golden. Very realistic homework expectations for readings and they are always enjoyable. Loved this teacher

Tom Hilton was probably the best professor I have taken at TCC. If you want a professor who is enthusiastic and interested in actually teaching you life lessons that you can actually use he's your man. His tests are a little extensive however not a major problem just make sure you study the readings.

Professor Hilton is a very wise and kind man. First day he told us that we did not need to buy the book because he doesn't teach out of it. His lectures are cool and don't feel that long. He's very clear cut with what he's teaching you and can even crack jokes that actually good. Very good teacher, would take again.

I took Mr. Hilton's classes many years ago and now I am about to finish my doctorate. He was then and still is today one of my strongest influences in my life. He was my greatest teacher and I am thankful to have been one of his students.

Mr. Hilton is an excellent teacher - one of the best I've had in my entire college career. He is captivating and interesting. If you attend class, follow the handouts and take good notes then you should do well on the tests. He also gives opportunities for extra credit. There should be no reason not to make an "A," but you do need to study. Mr

Horrible. He sits and talks for 90 minutes straight, disregarding any questions. His class notes are based completely on nonsense & speculation about the topic, and he also uses class time to use "his coffee cup" for examples that do not pertain to Philosophy at all. He is a pleasant man, but do not take his class. Also, no need to buy the book

Awesome instructor with a passion for teaching. Mr Hilton makes learing enjoyable. You never know what he is going to come up. Pay attention to the blackboard, he uses the pictures he draws on the tests. You do have to study but it is worth it when he announces your "A" to the class. Great guy.

Mr. Hilton was one of the best teachers I have had in my college career--and this is from a student with over 90 credit hours. He is passionate about his topic and spends considerable time preparing class notes that he hands out before his lecture. It still doesn't hurt to take notes, but with his method you don't even really have to.
