I love Tom. The first time I met him, I hated him. Im pretty sure he hated me too. He is a great teacher. Contrary to other posts, you can get a good grade even if you disagree with him; I did. I think that all intellectuals appreciate a good challenge, so if you can bring one, he will respect you for it. Tom is the best!

Was so mean that he made me cry during a meeting with him about my paper! His honors courses were awful and made you dumber each minute you sat in there. He wanted us to write papers without citations and the only people who got good grades on their papers were the ones who copied right from the book! I struggled to use my own knowledge in writing the papers yet still got a C (Since dropping honors, i have a 4.0--->he is the problem!). He only likes you if you agree with his illogical philosphical ways

Tom is my fav teacher at neumann. He forces you to actually think then just copy notes for an hour. I would advise all students to take a course with Tom. TOM MARSHALL ROCKS!!!!
