When I had Professor Watkins he was very respectful. He is an intelligent man, being that his full-time job is a lawyer. He teaches at Kent when he can and I appreciate what he does for his students. Although he doesn't take attendance except for the first day, it would benefit if you went to class and get to know how awesome he is. Tests were easy

Great class, very smart man. He's super nice and laid back, in his class you watch a lot of movies, that are on issues in society. His exams are based on the book, so be sure to rent or buy it. But overall a very easy class.

Had him for Issues in Law and Intro to Justice. AMAZING prof! Easy A! has great court room stories, lets you out early, and often cancels class due to court, but you write a lot of papers so it's fine. In Issues in Law you watch ALOT of documentaries, but they're really good and make you think. He's the reason I'm a JS minor. TAKE HIM! 1 of my favs

Really smart and entertaining. Loved the class, take home tests were decent but there was always 12 answers or so that i could not find anywhere then would end up missing them all and getting a B.I would suggest taking him though hes great.

AWESOME TEACHER! EASY A! Great teaching style and very helpful. Most of his classes are take home exams. He teaches law and society and that class only has 1 final which is a simple essay that you have all semester to work on.

Very smart, very approachable, good sense of humor, tests are take home long and hard but he gives you about a week to do it, and overall an excellent teacher. Take the class for credit or for fun it is great and you will never fall asleep since its always interesting especially his stories.

very easy...nice professor, funny, knows alot of info. 3 take home exams. They are very long but I got A's on all of them and did not attend class regularly. I would advise anyone to take him for any class possible!

I think Watkins is one of the best in this dept. The books are really informative and you'll learn a lot. Notes aren't needed. Tests are take home and are easy if you actually read the text before hand and while taking the test. The questions run in order through the chapters...
