I took this class DE and it was ok. I expected it to give a broader overview of Jesus' life and the content (and one of the assignments) kinda lingers on the minute details/discrepancies b/w texts. I found the taped lectures hard to follow. It's an alright course but the assignments need to be revamped and outlined more clearly.

What an incredible prof! He is so captivating and has such amazing insights into the material. Three hour lectures can be brutal, but not with Thom. I would take a class with him any day.

Awesome prof, has a great voice that is actually easy to listen to for a 3 hr. lecture. Lectures were very repetitive of what was in the text (which he wrote) and this was helpful as you could just scan parts of the text. Great course!
