Great professor. Funny guy tries to keep you engaged throughout the entire 3h lecture. Lots of material from lectures but he explains is really well. Textbook reading is essential but he teaches some interesting topics so it's not that bad. He's really approachable if you have any questions! Overall great guy and great course.

40% midterm, 40% final, 10% clicker participation and 10% essay. Exams aren't cumulative but he tests things that are exclusive to the textbook. 3h lectures get annoying with his teaching style and lacking powerpoints. material isn't hard but if you're looking for a bird course you could probably get a better mark in a BIOL class (sci students)

One of the best profs I've had. I even had him as a seminar leader. Really fair marker, explains things very clearly, loves his job and makes you love his class too. Also had him for 2P49, but he seems to enjoy teaching 2P50 more.

Professor Bogaert is extremely animated and it is clear that he loves what he teaches. He fully explains course material and uses many examples to ensure that everybody understands. Overall, he is an amazing professor and if you have the chance you should take a class with him!
