Full Disclosure, I hate chemistry with a passion. But I needed to take chem for the engineering program. Tony is the only reason I survived. He really animates the concepts in class with models, experiments, anecdotes, etc. Very passionate guy, but also a close talker. Just show up to the lectures, take notes, don't bother with textbook

I've had him for 101 and 154 and Tony's without a doubt been my favourite prof throughout uni. His lectures are insanely engaging and it seems like he's always available to help. Tests are rather difficult but definitely fair and usually no surprises. Also, if it's worth anything, he is an excellent convenor for the engineering program.

I left highschool kinda dreading chemistry, this was the first uni level chem course, and Tony actually got me liking chemistry again. His lectures are great! Had them at 8:30 in the morning but never found myself falling asleep. He is really passionate in lectures. Don't need the text except for extra practice, almost got an A+ without opening it.

I found him okay, even though a lot of the time I would be sitting in class completely confused during lectures. But generally speaking, most people in my class liked him a lot. I can admit that the tests were fair. Also don't buy the textbook for 154, I only opened it once. Save your money.

Tony was the first Chemistry teacher I had at Capilano and I absolutely loved him. He made everything so clear and he makes sure that everybody is on the same page and understands. His tests are only one what he teaches. Just do practice problems and you'll be A-okay :) 1010 in my opinion

Tony is one of the best instructors I've ever had. Everything is so crystal clear that the only time you'll ever need the textbook is to do practice questions. He really knows his stuff and he's extremely passionate. He can be a bit condescending at times but he doesn't mean any harm. Midterms are similar to the assignments, finals are hard.

He is a good lecturer (there is a difference between a good speaker/lecturer and a GOOD TEACHER). Can be very patronizing, and has swearing in class. Acts like he knows more than you a lot of the time. HARD MARKER> if you dont do it *HIS* way you get 10% at the most.

Best teacher in the Science Department at Capilano. Made classes really interesting, and was really clear in his lectures. Always willing to help and really knows what he's talking about. In general a really nice guy who generally wants to help and see you do well. I would recommend him to anyone taking chemistry.

Easily one of the best teachers at cap, has real world experience in the field so he really knows what he's talking about. Will make you feel like an idiot if you act like one, but if you're interested in the material he'll try his best to help you.
