I loved econ 111 with Nancy! She's hilarious, enthusiastic, and wants to see her students do well. We had 5 quizzes and 2 midterms, but they weren't extremely challenging and she's a lenient marker. She starts off the class telling you that if you want a 90 she'll help you get a 90.

Very good professor. Makes sure your understanding is clear and if not she will repeat . Not a very hard class and assignes homework once every two weeks ; the odd time a quiz although you are told about it in advance

Comment:

Nancy seems to be very nice, but she used many of the questions from previous years' exams and assignments. This makes the class average higher than it should be. If you are an above average student do not take this class with her because she has to curve the marks down and this will have a very negative impact on your final grade.

VERY HARD FINAL! Harder questions then any of her samples or midterm. Hard to read her writing, and she goes thru the material very fast. When u go see her in her office, it feels like she is rushing to get u out, and not really paying attention to you!

I really enjoyed Nancy as a prof. She could be a little hard to understand sometimes and reading her writing was difficult, but if you print off her notes, pay attention in class, and go through the examples she does in class, you should be fine.

Really difficult class, but Nancy makes it much easier. She explains it step by step. She does put up slides online, but they don't make sense unless you attend class. I've taken her for two classes and will definately take her again.

Certainly cares about student success and gave us every chance to get good marks. Really lacks tact and made me feel embarrassed in front of the class on more than one occasion. Stilted English and difficult to follow her slides. Didn't mark assignments herself, marker wasn't aware that the newest textbook edition had different questions. Avoid.

Great teacher! goes over everything multiple times to make sure you understand. very willing to help. you need to go to class and keep up with the notes and assignments. midterms and final are open book so organized notes is key!

Be prepared to get rude answers in her office when you ask her questions regarding assignments! If you want an ignorant person to teach your stats class, she's the right person! Gosh.. I wish I would've rather taken Heidi Esau's class instead.. too late to change now. I do not recommend her!

she is the probably one of the best profs i've had, she cares about her students doing well and wants everyone to pass. all her midterms and the final are open book and not hard at all, look over your notes before though. and she is willing to help if you dont understand something, even if its an assignment due that day she will go through it :)

She's very helpful, and really does want you to do well! I did Business Stats II with her after having the worst Arts and Science Stats prof and almost failing the class to finishing with an 85% in her class. She takes the time to do examples which is really nice!

Nancy is a helpful prof, and really wants her students to do well. She will help anyone outside of class if needed. All tests are open book, and if you do the assignments, you should do well on the exams. Her accent does taking a little getting used to though.
