Tony is one of the best teachers I've ever had, journalism or otherwise. I took his class, still unsure of myself, and left a better journalist, a better writer and with the confidence to truly pursue a career in journalism. Tony gives great feedback on your work and keeps a light classroom environment. Don't believe the negative reviews here.

Tony and his JOUR275 class are what made me become a journalism major. He doesn't limit you or hold you back, all the assignments and exercises are meant to teach you and break you out of your comfort zone. I got to cover any topic I was passionate about. You have to try really hard to do badly in this class, he only wants success for students

Tony was a great professor who really helped me understand journalism a lot better than I previously had. It's not like writing a paper or an essay, it's an entirely different format and Tony made that clear early on while allowing us to report on pretty much any topic on campus we wanted to. I would definately take his class again & recommend it

He is not a people person and has an attitude about him where he seems to make you feel littler of a person. horrible at communicating through media, face to face is better. He overall just rubs you the wrong way and I changed my entire major because of him. Did not like him and would not recommend him to my worst enemy. Horrible horrible teacher.

I've had many classes with Tony, and he's always been a great teacher. He's actually experienced in the field, and will give you great advice and assistance. If you take his class seriously, he's fair and will treat you respectfully. Very funny, and relaxed. Take his class, and you'll be made part of the school newspaper.

Tony is by far the most amazing professor I had at Bucks! He will be a mentor to you and answer any questions you have. He wants you to succeed in his class. Be prepared for a lot of work. As long do the assignments and write articles for the college newspaper as well, you will do well in his class.

Hey guys, I had Tony for two years and he was one of the best professors I have ever had. Tony is no pushover, but if you are serious about becoming a journalist, he will respect you and give you every opportunity he can. The chance to learn from somebody with his background is rare. I am at Temple now and sometimes I wish he was still teaching me.

Tony started my entire journalism career off on the right foot. He's a straight shooter and a no BS kind of professor, which is all a student starting out their major could hope for. If you care about the work, he'll care about your future as a journalist. All around a great teacher and good mentor.

I learned more from Tony during my time at Bucks than I did in my first newspaper job. I can't imagine a better program or teacher. I am certainly a better reporter and a better person for having studied under Tony. Anyone even considering this course should take it, even if it only gives you a new perspective on the world around you.

Don't get too fancy or creative, just crank out the work as expected, and you'll be fine. The assignments are much like his teaching, direct and to the point. Learning isn't an option, it's a requirement, but Rogers makes it as pleasant as possible.

I had him all the time when I was at BCCC and I wouldn't be where I'm at today if it wasn't for this guy. He's a bit out of his mind, but he wants his class to learn to be good writers. Plus, all his classes can be transferred
