Professor van Duzer speaks very clearly. He also is more than willing to help you during class or in his office hours, and he's very smart. Also quite funny. Everything you could ask for from a prof.

Comment:

He is hot. He is hilariously dry and witty. He is humble about his many achievements. He will make fun of you at your expense if you make a self-aggrandizing or stupid comment in class. However, to do well, you cannot be afraid to ask questions (just suffer through the humiliation). Apart from that, take good notes and keep up with the readings.

This prof is very clear and easy to follow. He often repeats himself (like first few mins of class goes over the last lecture and last few mins of class provides an overview of the next lecture). So sometimes you hear the same thing three times, which I found made it easy to remember all material since you heard it so much. also he is nice guy

Amazing Prof. Breaks down the entire course for you. Humble, friendly and funny. Always there for you during office hours. Can talk to you until you understand the material. Very relaxed teaching style, and a good sense of humour (no socratic method). Clear explanations, good slides. Overall, I'm happy to have had winter term of Contracts with him and plan to take BusOrg with him. Exam was very reasonable, which reflects the fact that he's an experienced instructor.

I had VanDuzer for International Investment Law, and he was excellent. His slides and lectures were clear, and he was a very fair marker. His witty comments were a welcome reprieve during our analyses of tortuous ICSID arbitral rulings.
