Comment:

I have had Prof Peppin for Health & Public Health Law and have enjoyed her teaching style in both. She is supportive, kind and readily available to help students. While there have been times when it is harder to follow class due to Prof Peppin's softer voice, her more gentle approach to teaching is a welcome change from law school intensity.

Comment:

Professor Peppin is very kind and approachable. If you enjoy a slower pace, then definitely take this class. While only certain topics in the course were of interest to me, this is true for almost any course. Professor Peppin does have a softer voice, which makes the class more relaxing and less intense, which I enjoy.

Worst Prof I've ever had. She couldn't teach at all, she mumbled, had no structure or linear reasoning to her classes, and she never explained anything properly (even if you asked a direct question). She never clarified anything and only made things unnecessarily confusing. Avoid this Prof if possible.

Boring. Doesn't know how to explain anything. Doesn't outline what cases are the leading cases. Assigns assignments that are of no value to the student. Doesn't even tell you what you need to read!

Prof Peppin does not teach effectively. She can't handle student questions, and when asked something will mumble a response like, "oh yes, well.. I see what you mean" then turn to the class to see if another student will answer it. I asked her a direct question the first day of class and did not get a real response. That continued all semester.

Absolutly Horrible - Mumbles through classes, doesn't engage the topic, refuses to give direction in the law - ALL HER EXAMPLES WERE WRITTEN IN THE 80's!!!

This seminar was an excellent course. Professor Peppin is very open to student input and student ideas. If you like contributing to the course then you will really enjoy Professor Peppin. If are lazy, and you'd prefer to be entertained rather than challenged take another course.
