You can barely hear him during lectures and he manages to make it sound like the most boring topic in the world, but that doesn't matter because you don't even have to attend the class to pass.

prof. Drewes can only be appreciated by higher level ECON majors in more advanced classes. The man has amazing insights into the topics he teaches and well beyond, has an intelligent sense of humor, and is a fair grader. TrentU should use him better and not waste his talents teaching Stats to often non-econ majors (sadly).

worst prof ever. He always mumbles even you ask to speak louder. Can't even hear his voice from the first row. Not recommend to go lecture. Instead, read the textbook then you will get A. That's what i did and got A-. More than half of the students skip the class and show up just for exams. His test is not that hard.

Mumbles a lot, have to sit in the front of the class to understand what the lecture is about. Not very enthusiastic about the course material, which makes it very difficult to be interested in the subject material.

I had Prof. Drewes for the Stats course and tried for as any more as I could. I enjoyed his style of teaching immensely. He will tell you exactly what will be asked on the final, but you HAVE TO GO TO CLASS! He has a couple jokes that you may not get, but in retrospect, they're pretty good. Just go to class, don't be late and be interested!!!

Funny, doesn't waste his time on stuff that we don't need to learn, assignments and exams are not easy but shouldn't be a problem if you have reviewed and done well on assignments. Protip: heckles people who walk in late. If you are late, walk quietly, and sit at the nearest seat

Drewes is a good professor. He is also very funny. I went to his office concered with my grade (69), and thought I was failing, and when he saw that I had a 69, he kicked me out of his office and said not to worry!

Don't waste your $ on the text. That aside, Drewes is hillarious, concise and willing to help. He has particular disdain for absentee/late students. Anybody who disses him on here is the kind of student who only shows up to hand in assignments. Stop being cocky and try learning, then you'll like Drewes. Chat with him during his post-class smoke(s).

Can be a difficult course for non ECON majors. Drewes can come off as moody or grumpy, just don't be over sensitive to it. I think it is just how he communicates. I enjoy him because of his dry/sarcastic sense of humor. If you're going to see him about something, have some direction or don't expect much help!
