He's an awesome teacher, all you really had to do for this summer class was attend lecture and bring yuour primary source book. Was 4 tests 25 pts each and scantron. I got a B+ (1 point away from an A)

Totally agree with every one. I took it during summer and past it with an A. His great at teaching history, you really don’t get bored at all and the tests are super easy 25 multiple choice questions. Take him, his a great professor.

Good class. I never attended and pulled of a C. If you wish to get an A you must attend class, take notes from lecture and read primary source book. He is game for intellectual comments and critique...great teacher to learn from.

i took his class over intersession...it was so easy! Great professor, very passionate about what he teaches, tests are very easy and come directly fom class notes, no need to buy the book...GREAT TEACHER, and not to mention an easy A !!

I am so disappointed. I haven't learned anything!! He is friendly, and seems like a nice guy, but that isn't what I need in a professor, I need someone who can lecture in a clear concise manner. This is the opposite. He seems almost senile in lecture, repeating the same sentence in a different order over and over. How did he get a job at UCLA???

I have to say I was bummed out after taking Daryaee's Ancient Greece class. I had been looking forward to that class my whole time in the program and then I took it and it was such a let down. It's not a hard class at all but the material and the way it was covered left a lot to be desired. Very disappointing.

Dr. Daryaee is THEE BEST PROFESSOR I have ever taken in my life!!! His intelligence is off the charts! I am a better man for having taken Dr. Daryaee's 300a and the History of Rome!!! I recommend Dr. Daryaee to EVERY history student!!

Easy class! He isn't generally that helpful or interested in you; but if you go to class, take notes, and look at the primary source documents you will get at least a B. Easy quizes/tests and a paper. All you need to know is right there, he doesn't try to trick you or give you a bad grade.
