Comment:

Had her for Discrete Math after my main professor got sick for the semester. This wasn't even a class she normally taught, but she seemed to be pretty well versed on the subject. She was a very enjoyable teacher, homework was optional (but the questions would be on the tests/quizzes) and she was very helpful if you had any questions

Comment:

despite being fairly clear in her lectures, they always felt like cursory glances of the material that failed to fully convey the necessary takeaways of the chapter. Firstly there was to much of an emphasis on what the terms and properties were rather than examples of application. Also, any examples she does have rarely parallel the Hw.

Linear Algebra is supposed to be easy. She makes it 100 times harder than it should be. She does not focus on the matrices, only the vocabulary words. She should probably be an English professor instead. Don't do it to yourself.

At first taking this class I thought it was a little challenging but I kept with it. Throughout the class I found the work to become more difficult. The quizzes are nothing like the tests. Very tough grader. Many people say she's a great professor but do not be deceived she has no mercy and will fail you without remorse...

Great professor. She really cares about what she's doing and makes the class fun. No one can make Calculus easy but she makes it a bit more palatable.

She's such a nice woman, and a great math teacher. She's aware if there's something students aren't understanding and will make sure everyone is up to pace before moving along. A good amount of homework and quizzes are given but they only help you understand material. I would definitely recommend her

McGrail is a really nice woman but she is not a good professor. Her notes and examples don't relate to the homework, which is graded. Quizzes are easy, tests not so easy. I leave class confused everyday and her office hours are no help at all.

I took McGrail for Stats and Calculus 3. She is a pretty good teacher, I excelled in math in high school so I was able to understand everything we learned in class. She does assign tedious hw assignments and tests are challenging.

Professor McGrail is a decent stat teacher. She gives you print out of the power points so you don't really need to take notes. Her test are hard though and you must be very detailed. Her homework can be pretty annoying as well.

She is horrible. I have had her for Calc 2 and 3 She doesn't really help at all and gets irritated if you don't understand after the first couple times she explains things. She seems nice but doesn't mind failing students. The tests and homework are hard.

Had her for calc 3, personally i liked her as a teacher. shes very clear when teaching, however 3 tests make up your whole grade. have to do well on all three or will not do well. short presentation on a mathematician. homework due once a week with limited problems. she loves the subject, take her!

Worst math professor in the world! She is no help her class is impossible. Even if you go to her for extra help everyday, she will still fail you. Does not mind failing students. Would not at all recommend her! She is horrible!Avoid!!!

If you have her for stats hopefully you either took it in high school or are good at teaching yourself because I had to teach myself everything through the online homework. Thank god for the online stuff or I would have no idea what to do and i took stats in high school.

she has her high and low points. very enthusiastic about what she teaches. also very helpful, encourages you to visit her during office hours and email her with questions. considering i HAD to take this class, it definitely could have been worse. shes kind of cute too.
