Professor Miller is very sweet and understanding. It was nice to have a one day a week because she never held us for the entire time. Usually class was only about an hour or so, unless we watched a movie. There are a few easy, reflective papers, and there is one group project. (make sure you know your group members will do the work!!)

Professor Miller is really sweet. The class is really simple and straight to the point. Although some of the assignments are time consuming, they are eye-opening & worth actually doing. You're given a lot of opportunities to experience things you normally wouldn't. Easy gen-ed and easy for major. Kind of boring but I would take it again.

Nice professor but will judge you for not having an open mind--as a result she will take off points. Attendance isn't mandatory. All assignments are submitted on blackboard. Extra credit opportunities. One group project (easy). This class is an easy A, just stay on top of the assignments.

Fairly easy class as long as you complete all of the assignments and stay on track. Attendance not mandatory. Really nice lady but did not learn much. Wants you to go to a lot of speakers that are not always during class time. Different and exciting assignments, not just reading and writing homework, which is refreshing!

Mrs. Miler is very, very sweet. The class is based off of an open discussion format, so if you are shy, don't take the class. All projects and assignments are posted on Blackboard along with rubrics. Follow the rubric or else you won't do well. Not a difficult class.

Barely gives any detail on what she wants in your papers, and will deduct YOUR grade for not reading her mind pretty much. BS class. I stressed over this more than I do in Anatomy & physiology 2 & Statistics. She doesn't teach, but has you do all the readings when you're paying her to teach you. I hate her.

So this class is insanely easy. Honestly, it was an insult to my intelligence to sit through 3 hours of class every week. All you talk about is Vietnam and segregation. If you actually want to learn something do not take the class. If you want to get an A with about 3 hours of work for the semester take the class

The class can get a little bit long, but she tries to keep it interesting! Take home midterm and final as well as a big interview paper. The paper seems really overwhelming at first but it's easy to write and fun to do. She knows what she is talking about and is a really nice woman! I became an AMST minor after taking this class. highly recommend!

This is the only class she teaches and it is a drag but an easy A. Didn't buy the main text book and the ones I did buy I didn't read. Great lady and teacher. She works hard to make the class interesting with guest lectures etc. A interview/paper with a person from the 60's. Easy take home final and midterm. You have to try to fail this class...

Easy class, Nice teacher. She is very helpful and not a very hard grader. The class is basically writing 13 different business letters, one 7-10 pg paper, and one oral report. Take Her!

Don't take this class unless you are ready to be bored out of your mind. The lectures are very spread out. She does give out study guides before all tests. Tests are a little difficult if you don't follow her lectures all the way. Overall, just a very boring class.

Yes, this class is extraordinarily easy, but you do learn more about the struggles of civil rights, Vietnam, etc. She is so very nice, however, chances are you will get bored in the class. However, it is the price you pay for an easy grade. MANY videos about the sixties, and a couple of readings but nothing particularly taxing. I highly recommend

easiest class you could take, a 5 year old could pass it. barely any work at all. only bad thing about the class is that she tends not to listen and space out but you should defenitely take it.

Tracy Miller is an excellent teacher and I say teacher because she is more like a high school teacher than a college professor. I would urge any student to take a class with this wonderful Towson University staff member.

She is a nice lady, most of the class is videos, and she understands ur an adult. The lectures can get a bit dry but it u just gotta sit back and chill cause she doesnt really even give tests, so just zone out and pretend ur interested, do good on ur essays and u got urself an preety easy A.
