I hated this class and this teacher. She's nice but nice isn't everything when you show up to class and she never comes. Granted it's nice to not have class, but not when you go out of your way to get there and then not have it. Assignments are really unclear and unorganized. Participation means nothing. Switch out if possible.

When Ms Wooten feels like showing up for class, half the time she will give you a library assignment to go and complete on your own time. Assignments are very uninteresting and unclear, and she is not very helpful at all.

I would so take this class for comp 2 if her class wasn't at 7:30 AM. She is easy. If you don't like to go to class then take her, she'll probably not show up and if she does, class is very simple. Her topics were pretty easy and she'll help you if you really need it. Group projects are easy grades...be creative!

She is very nice. We barely did anything all semester; she missed a bunch of classes. We never used the books. We used quick access maybe 3 times. No tests; 1 quiz. 4 papers & 4 projects.

i really disagree! she is very very nice, super easy, i never got anything below a 97, helpful and sweet. I really enjoyed her class and found her to be a great teacher :) she did miss class A LOT though, that is my only complaint.

very nice lady.. she isn't the best teacher, but she isn't that hard either... if you ask her questions and go to her office and talk with her, she will help you out a bunch.. you get to miss class a lot, she doesnt even come all the time... not a bad class at all, i'd take her again...

She does pick favourites, she is very unclear and I did spend lots of time on my papers even going to the writin center..i realized ms. wooten had not been thoroughly reading my papers as she marked up a good essay and left a bibliography page that had couple mistakes...which proved she does not really read your paper..i would avoid her if i were u

I dont know what you all are talking about.Ms. Wooten is a nice lady, very helpful if you go to her office hours REGULARLY.I think she made it very clear on what she wanted, but you cant write a paper the night before for her and get an A. SPend time on the papers and youll do fine. I got an A.

She is very unclear most of the time. She picks favorites a lot, and if you aren't one she comes down hard. Seems bipolar, she stormed out of class once within the first 5 minutes. I was also there to witness the marker incident (she hit someone in the face with one.) She cancels class a lot. And sometimes never replies to emails DO NOT TAKE HER!!

don't take her. she's nice, but i think she's bipolar. she blows up over nothing and she threw a marker at some kid and hit him in the head! she helped me with a paper and said it was great and not to change it, and i got a b. ?? not a good teacher at all, i didn't learn a thing. not too many assignments though, just core papers and reading.

Wooten is definately out there! She cancels class a lot with VERY little notice, or makes you wake up early to be there for 20 min. She takes forever to get back to you on most matters. She dosent go over her guidlines most of the time and tends to favor some students, makeing time for them and not others. May be in your best interest to AVOID her.

Always cancels classes, only method of contact is via email and she will not respond to your email until 4 - 5 days after, if she ever responds. I emailed her twice on important matters and she never replied, she doesnt really seem too concerned for some students. I wouldnt recommend her, if you want a good grade, get another teacher. I felt that she was very easy. The final is nothign at all. It is a group project that was so easy. She never shows up for class, they are always canceled, but i don't have a problem with that. Overall, i thought the class was very easy.

Ms. Wooten does not make herself available, at least not to me, she made time for students that she wanted to make time for, she seemed to think i didnt deserve better than a B- even when by her own words my papers were "very nicely written" if you need attention and a good grade, get another teacher. you are warned !!!!!

i will warn you now DO NOT TAKE HER PLEASE! she grades so hard even on the first core average of 75% on the first core. If you want a good start in college i would advise you to stay away from WOOTEN she will leave depressed as a writer, NOT UNDERSTANDING AT ALL!!!. STAY AWAY she is like a disease! She also cancels class alot but eamils you at 3am
