nice person, but horrible teacher. uses powerpoint, talks about a lot of irrelevent stuff, and almost never uses the chalkboard or solves a problem. you'll end up learning the stuff on your own cause noone can remain fully concious in his class.

I'm a physics major and I had him for 207 and 313. He's a horrible teacher and doesn't know how to speak in front of a class. Luckily he's good at giving partial credit. You'll have to learn from the book, hopefully it's a good one.

Wow....I can honestly say that the lectures were worthless and the text is that useful either. Hard exams and hard final, but trust me, you want him over MacDonald. Mitchell gives more partial credit....thank god for that on the exams.

I hope you took physics in highschool. Hard to follow lectures (print out the notes), can't read his writing, homework is tough but exams much easier. The curve will save you from killing your GPA.
