Expects a lot, but if you put in time and effort he will go out of his way to prepare you. He will sit down and go over anything you need help with outside of class time, but you have to ask. Don't be late with assignments. If you're called on in class and don't know, let him know. He'll stop and teach and make sure you get it.

Very unclear as to what is expected. Haven't seen course outline yet so I have no idea how the course is broken down for marks. Will call on random people in class to answer and slow down the lecture to pressure one person. Also does weird eyebrow thing

Trevor Curtis was one of my favourite teachers. He doesn't take it easy on his students, and he has high expectations, but if you're willing to put in the time and effort, he will do his best to help you succeed. Trev was instrumental in inspiring me to pursue a career in technology, and I will always be grateful. Tough, fair, sarcastic, awesome!

He is super tough. If you ask him a question sometimes he gets a bit sidetracked. But if you put him back on track, he will answer it clearly. He would rather have you work together. The material is tough, slightly dry. But he comes in every day super exciting and gets you pumped for networking. Super tough if coming from high school

Trevor is a tough instructor, no doubt. You have to work hard. If you are lazy, don't take classes with him. However, the learning and skills you receive by listening and asking LOTS of questions will pay in spades later on. It's worth the aggravation.

Excellent. Coming from a troubleshooting background myself, I can really appreciate his teaching style. He makes YOU solve problems and really gets you in the right mindset for solving problems instead of just giving you an easy solution. It seems like he tries to prepare you for the real world. He really sparked my interest in networking.

Very knowlegeable instructor - definitely knows his CISCO stuff. Comes across a bit egotistical and can be condescending when responding to questions. Certainly makes you think though - no easy ride here.
