Dr. Merrill truly cares about the success of his students. While material may be difficult at times, he is more than willing to explain. Go to the review sessions and make sure you read the book before the lecture - it helps immensely. I should end up 3.5ing this course. There's no reason you can't!

This man made me love this class! He explains concepts until the majority of the class understand, then verifies by iclicker questions. I would not have anyone else teach biology
