I will never take a class with him again! I did not enjoy this class and I don't find him to be engaging. Participation in this class is mandatory. It was repetitive and got boring.

While he is not the most engaging I have ever had, he makes the content interesting enough. Online quizzes provide a nice boost your mark, provided you have done the readings. Incomplete slides mean you might not want to skip class on a regular basis. All around good prof.

If you're a Criminal Justice and Public Policy student at Guelph, taking classes with Troy is a must. He's friendly, extremely clear when giving lectures, and is always reasonable. Many of his higher level classes have a lot of take-home exams and are hold to a high standard which some may like while others dislike. Overall a great prof.
