Easy class and easy work. However, she'll make you buy books that her friends wrote. She's a nice lady, but can be arrogant sometimes.

Tough Class, The tests are write in and the questions are about the smallest detail that no one in their right mind would remember unless you read the textbook like the bible. on the flacking daily. do not recommend please avoid at all cost. She's nice I guess but it isn't worth it

Comment:

Feinstein is good if you want to do well in the class. The tests are all multiple choice, and all from the notes and the book. The textbook is irrelevant to the tests, aside from reviewing topics covered in the lecture. She talks endlessly on her personal life stories rather than the actual lecture, but if you can endure that you will be fine.

GO TO LECTURE! If it is not in the lecture it is not on the exam so don't bother with the textbook. She is very clear about what is going to be tested. Discussion is useless unless you missed lecture. Take notes from the power points, pay mild attention and you should do well. She is boring but gives a good general overview of psychology.

Sweetest lady! Class is pretty easy and she makes it interesting with personal examples. Shes very personable and nice, just dont be late to class. You dont need to read the books, just look over the textbook before the exam and make sure to know everything from your notes. Its easier than AP Psych. And tests arent cumulative which is a godsend

A very sweet lady who cannot teach. She reads off the powerpoint but the material comes straight from the book so you don't even have to read. It is a super easy class, make sure you come to lecture if you don't read, and take notes, exams are super easy!

If you want to hear her life story then this class is for you. I was considering double majoring in psych but changed my mind because this class was so boring. However the class is really easy and the textbook is hardly ever opened.

i loved this class! it was my favorite one fall semester. feinstein is very sweet and lively. this class is not for psych majors if you are looking for intense detail. her class is more of a simple introduction for those who have to take the course. bring a laptop and just follow her powerpoint slides and you should do fine, use book as a ref.

Decent, interesting, easy professor. I went to every lecture, and she basically lectures the textbook chapters on ppt. Although I hardly read the textbook, very few questions on the exam (which are mult choice) come from textbook readings. If you go to class and study, you'll do fine. Readings would be helpful, but not required in my opinion.

This was a super easy class and the material was really clear. She teaches pretty much straight from the book. Prof Feinstein is a really nice and optimistic person though and the required readings were interesting.

Definitely an easy class, esp. when you pick the one w/o discussion. Lectures "mandatory" but basically time to fool around on laptop. Teaches directly from slides aka the psych textbook. Don't have to read other books, just attend the lecture when she discusses it.

Class is ridiculously easy and boring. All prof. Feinstein does is read from her slides which are a copy of what is in the book. I missed 3/4 of the lectures ( I attended every discussion ) and still got an A only by reading the book. If you are really interested in psych, don't take this class. If you want a GPA boost, go for it.

it may take her a full 4 minutes to finish one thought because she always interrupts herself, over and over. YOu are supposed to go to lecture, but you really dont have to if you can get the notes from someone else. lectures were fine at the beginning of the semester, but by the end, i was sick of them. Class isnt all that hard though

Feinstein was a bad professor. She is not intelligent, makes bad jokes, has strong opinions, and does not respect other opinions. Her exams are easy. Lectures are a waste of time, I never read the novels she assigned and I got A-s on all of the tests

Some questions on the exam are a little misleading, but I went in to her when we got results for the first exam and explained my case. She was totally understanding- willing to give me that question in case it mattered in my grade. Others went in to her at the end of the semester just so they would bump up their score, which didnt work. I got an A.

The class isn't hard, but it sucks. She doesn't seem smart to me and really doesn't go into detail with anything. Nice lady, but not a great teacher. She also thinks everyone in the class is an idiot with no intuition because she dumbs down every response to a person's question as if a ten year old asked it. Also, barely any work for this class
