Such a sweet prof and really helpful if you need it. Took french for 6 years prior to her course but didn't score nearly as high as in high school. She is tough and loves to test you on all the exceptions. Classes are boring but she is also hilarious sometimes so it's not terrible to sit through. Lots of exercises out loud so be prepared to speak

Ursula is one of the nicest profs out there, but boy is she tough. If you're not francophone or have little french background- avoid her. She loves exceptions to verbs and will put all of them on the exam!

Don't let her stature fool you, she is full of energy and enthusiasm! She is encouraging and never makes students feel stupid. FREN 215 is very grammar-centred, beware. Also, when she asks for a five sentence summary, she means exactly five sentences; you will lose points for going over or under the expected length. Super nice woman, though.

She seems cute and nice at the beginning but then you get her tests/exams. She loves to trick you. Doesn't matter if you are there everyday and listen, the questions are from things you went over for 2 seconds. She won't help you if you go see her so don't bother. I wouldn't recommend her.

I love this woman! she's so adorable! She stands at about 4'6" but has enough enthusiasm for everyone in the room! She reminded me of an elementary school teacher in that she cared and wanted everyone to understand. French grammar isn't exactly uplifting but she made it the funnest it could possibly be! Take her!!

Good class. Best mark I've had so far in French in my university career. Youth lit was not hard, and actually interesting. Lectures were kinda entertaining, but hard to take notes other than what she writes on the board. Youth lit was much better than taking 215 from her. Take it :)

As a first year student she was AMAZING in the helping department but scored a big fat zero in the interesting section. She is really sweet but she stressed me out trying to teach some verbs. However she is a fair marker and really helpful. I hated how she called on people all the time though

Nice lady but assigns a LOT of work. Can be frustrating with subjective projects, like summarizing stories - once you summarize it she'll tell you those weren't the key points.
