Dr. Ford was incredible. He's retired but came back to teach a semester of gen chem. He lectured clearly and went over only important information that would be on the exam, with a few interesting facts on the side. I am really disappointed he's not teaching gen chem 2. Multiple choice exams, EASY random quizzes, some book homework, took attendance.

I love Dr. Ford. He's a sweet, old man who is very easy to follow in class. Tests are like the assigned homework problems, just sometimes a bit long. I would gladly take another course with Dr. Ford.

Very biased professor. He grades according to how he feels about the individual, not based on the person's work. In one situation, my lab partner and I did all our work together and had similar answers. She got a 100% and I got an 86%. I hated this class, but loved the chemistry.

Amazing professor!!!! He's very helpful, in not only chemistry but even any question regarding all the sciences or fields of study. He'll take out time to discuss the different things u need to do to succeed in a certain area. He's a tough grader to some degree, but he still knows how to teach and how to keep you interested.

He's a nice man. His notes in class are what you might expect on the test. Sometimes he will give you a surprise on the test. You do get a formula sheet, but sometimes he does not put all of the formulas on the test :( Do all of homework assignments, and go over the class notes. If you go and see him, he will help but does like to get off topic.

A nice person. An interesting teacher. Test questions and quizzes are not like homework problems. He is helpful. But the class is tough. Keep up with the homework and ask as many questions as you can. Almost everyone failed the first test, so he gave us a makeup, which was really awesome of him.
