Uta is a difficult teacher to get along with, but behind the gruff exterior is a heart of gold. She plays favorite and often unconciously savagely discriminates against some of her students, but if you can make it in her class, you can make it in the real world! Her class is tough. Her personality can be harsh. But she is a fantastic professor.

Didn't like her very much. She had her favorite students and everyone else was put on the spot. Pretty much hated her class for 10 weeks because I always worried about her putting me on the spot, it was belittling.

uta if a great teacher if you actually want to learn something. she does not give easy a's so if you are looking for one do not take her. she will not put up with bullpucky from students.

Uta is an amazing person. She can be moody, and dificult sometimes, but if you respect her, she'll respect you back. Her class is not for slackers, whiners, or the timid. But if you are dedicated to your art, you whould be a fool not to take her class! Just be ready to actually work for your A.

Most professors have 2 office hours/week, so being on campus 2 days is a non-issue. Many students here at UCR receive A's for trash, and they're used to it. Uta and I never agreed on much, but if you obey instructions(duh), she's open minded and fair.

Hard to talk to, steorotype students, limit experimentation on projects, restrictive, doesn't give out her email and is kind of hard to find since she is only on campus for 2 days out of the week, and I don't think she likes to teach.
