On point, but show up and work and you'll pass, and he appreciates extra work attending his other classes or events. I couldn't sing a note at the end was doing great: will continue study. Very nice, encouraging person. Choral background BTW is a great way to meet folks in any city, and you'll have it. No texts but he'll recommend supplementary.

I took college chorus with him because I knew it would be an easy A, but when I signed up I didn't realize how time consuming the "out of class" rehearsals and performances were going to be. I am a full time student and I have a full time job which all of these performances interfered with. We met almost everyday of finals week Not worth 1 credit

Took him for Non-Credit Community Chorus. I am a woman who sings tenor. He refused to allow me to sing the tenor portion of songs, but insisted I sing Alto only when I could hit the notes. He never checked my voice range or believed me. I have been a professional mucisian. This was quite unacceptable.

I took him last year for two semesters.He may come off as mean sometimes,but that is just because he is demanding of music major,and if you are not a music major he will be a little bit easier on you.He has a passion to teach,and I miss being in his class.He even agreed to be my piano teacher for the summer and I will look forward to that very much

he makes theory enjoyable.he is very demanding of the students who are music majors but the non-music majors he will give them a bit of break and not expect too much as he did with me.had him for two semesters.DR.T YOU ARE WONDERFUL AND EASY GOING.there is a ton of homework in both theory classes.If you are not a music major take each one separate!

Definally knowledgable in Part Writting, Sight Reading, and Music Theory basics. He will challenge you with pop quizzes, and provide homework content on every quiz. Even if the class is struggling, he will extend his time on such confusing chapters to clarify the material. The only reason you will not get an "A" is to not show up and do homework.

dr.t is great. he lets the class interact with him. i was upset with some of my grades i received,but he gave the class and myself extra credit. he knows every song ever written, is extremely intelligent, and a stickler for music theory. just don't show up or turn in late assignments or think you know everything in his music theory class.

This was the most amazing class. I took him for all the theory courses and he is just the most compassionate person I have ever met! He has such a love for music and you really learn soo much. If you are even the LEAST bit interested in music theory, PLEASE TAKE HIM!!! You won't regret it.

Dr. Taranto (Dr. T.) is one of the most kind-hearted genuine people that I know! He has such a love for music, especially theory! I already liked theory and the idea of composing music, but now I love theory and I am enrolling in his music composition class. He is amazing! I would recommend him to anyone! He makes me smile!!!
