Curently have Vikki for my eng 110 class and I warn you right away she is strict! But don'tme wrong, shes an old fashion teacher who wants to see her students succeed. If you do decide to take her class try and be on her good side, and follow the gudielines directly as stated!

Vicki Dykstra is one of the “greats” a dying breed because she actually CARES, She wants you to succeed. If you want to get your money’s worth take any class she teaches. If you want to sleep, get on your cell phone, pick another instructor. An “A” earned from her is one you’ll be proud of.

Vicki is a fine writer,i've read her work, she just isn't a good teacher. I learned NOTHING in her class, i just wrote what she wanted to hear,and got an A. I didn't use my own writing style,I practicaly used her words for my work. Oh, when she tells you to bring a rough draft,she grades it like a finnal, so make sure it's in good shape.
