Dr. Helgeson is amazing. Her Psychology of Gender course is the summation of all of her research; the textbook, written by her is such an easy read. The course relies on student interaction and personal experiences and it's the safest space I've ever had to explore my own thoughts in academia. Easily the best course I've ever taken at CMU.

Vicki is an awesome lecturer and provides excellent examples to illustrate class concepts, many from her personal experience. She's also my psychology major advisor, so that's an added bonus when help is needed; however, she has no concrete office hours and encourages students to meet with her whenever, for the student's flexibility.

Social Psych Easy class. Good lecture notes. Gives good anecdotes. Need to pay attention in class and give examples of the concepts we learn in class for the test. Test is composed of many short answer questions.
