In this class you need to follow directions & take notes. That is it. Learn how to cite your sources and be inclusive in your assignments. I earned my A easily. Everyone around me missed a chunk in her directions when writing their papers. The same students that wondered what the heck happened when they got their grade. She was entertaining too.

At first I didn't really like her but she is really understanding and super nice! She is a hippie but really awesome. She is tough on attendance but she has her favorites. She liked me and I had over 4 absences and I still ended up with an A. Just talk to her and she will let you slide with a lot of things.

she is a really tough grader and a lot of the times doesnt specify what she wants. she does help a lot if you go to office hours. my papers have become a lot better. but sometimes she can drive you crazy.

Redpath is something else.She has a unique personality, but she is a mess.She is very unorganized but other than that if you seek help she is definitely willing to help.She often goes off on her tangents talking about really random stuff, but I guess that makes class interesting. She doesn't give partial credit which is horrible&Shes a tough grader

Awesome professor, she will review any of your essays and show you how to make it a 100. She loves helping and is a very intelligent person. She is an individual but her personality makes class interesting. If you want to do poorly, don't ask her for help, if you want an A set up a meeting. She also loves a good conversation.

She will legit stand there and talk about gum or snowball fights for thirty minutes. She is the most unclear professor I have ever had. She doesn't explain any essays properly so be prepared to rewrite them 3 times. She talks about her old days hitch hiking for 6 years and being in the peace corps. She's a sweet woman but a rough grader. Good luck.

Not a good teacher at all. She is not clear with her assignments, even if there is a handout. Does not actually teach, she just talks about her past. For the daily writings, she does not use the topics we gave her at the beginning of class and always chooses uninteresting topics. If I could, I would've chosen a different teacher.

She is a good person, but as a teacher she is really tough. She does not give partial credit on anything. Also if you miss a quiz for any reason automatic zero, it doesn't matter the circumstance. If you use her office hours she is helpful. As for her assignments she's not very clear. She does drop your lowest grade.

Every class she talks about something that happened at Woodstock or her days in the Peace Corp and it's very annoying. Then in the middle of her ramble she'll throw in some important bit of information about an assignment or something. Don't take Redpath!

She doesn't explain assignments very well. Her grading system is odd. you can recieve good grades on the things she hands out, yet sill end the class with a D??? Also she dosen't keep track of grades during the year. I also find her to be rude for no reason

Comment:

Have a new English teacher as I type and is much better. This one does not give credit on partially right answers and acts as if her class is the only one you're taking. Plus she makes you write a page everyday on topics that are usually too simple to collaborate on. I recommend Prof. Achenbach.

This was the first professor that ever made me completely angry, and that is not easy to do. My grandpa died and that was not a good enough excuse for taking a quiz late, yet a student whose car broke down was a legitimate excuse and she allowed them to take it late. She did let me take the quiz about 2 months later.
