She explains the material well and teaches you everything you need to know and does relevant examples in class. She is a bit monotone though and can make you doze off in class. Final looked exactly like the practice finals she posted and not too hard to do well in.

I don't understand all the negative feedback. She teaches a rigorous method for testing various hypothesis, then ANOVA and regression. There could be no more straightforward way of showing how to do it (she shows some proofs, none are required on exams, just applying the method). Very nice person, very caring of students. Door is always open.

She seems very helpful but her class notes are bit too vague for certain topics. You can find better material online that breakdown topics really well. So her lecture notes are not sufficient by itself. You will most definitely need the help of extra material. Classes can be very boring at times...

Smart prof, straightforward with her teaching. Focus is on learning a few concept in depth. If you buckle down and pay attention through the occasionally boring lectures, you'll learn a lot. Does a pretty good job of putting stats in a real world context.

Extremely boring just go to class to know what material is being covered and cover it by yourself on the book. She's very very tough. I literally stopped going to her classes and got one of my friends to tell me what was being covered and aced the class.

HORRIBLE teacher. Has no idea what she's teaching and expects you to know everything before hand. Gives stuff in assignments she hasn't even taught yet! nice professor, but doesn't teach well. dont go to class, and read the book instead and solve the suggested problems. exams are NOT like assignments. they r not that hard, so go over the suggested problems few times and ur ready, write everything you know since she is a generous grader :) btw. winter semester gets tough, so do well with victoria!
