To be true prof is nice, but very lazy. It seems like he is not devoted and not interested at all in what he teaches. However, the midterm and final exam is from the book. If you really want to do well in this course make sure to try your level best to solve tutorial questions on your own with the help of TA. You will get easy A.

Comment:

Doesn't seem to care about the course at all. None of the material presented in class is his own. Lab instructions are from years ago, no changes made to the documents, but the TA's tell us what to instead. Seems pointless. You're better off learning from the textbook. Lectures are a waste of time.

I found this prof to be very unorganized. He doesn't post lecture material anywhere. He uses someone else's lecture slides but then has to skip certain parts. His explanations in class were very unclear and when students asked him questions, he very seldom had answers.

he is a nice professor. it would be better if his class are about solving problems but he just read some powerpoint slides. overall, a nice person.

He is a very nice person. Although, not a good professor. The lecture slides and syllabus are taken from another professor. Midterm and final exams were all the exact questions from the textbook. He also does not use D2L and would just email us the suggested textbook questions. Never gave us the solutions to them though. Overall, nice but lazy.

This prof has a reputation for being a bad prof and I agree. The midterms had no clear grading schemes, but we're exact questions from the textbook. I never went to class and just learnt from the textbook.

Flat out unorganized. Lecture material did NOT coincide with tutorial topics in any way shape or form. Taught the course as if we all had considerable background knowledge in fluid mechanics, meanwhile this is the INTO to fluid mechanics. EASY midterms and labs, and a total curveball on the final (went into it with an A, came out with a C+). AVOID.

His tests all had tricks to them, and his final exam was very difficult, but his lectures were very insightful and engaging in nature. This class was much better than aerodynamics.

didnt teach the material well even tho he only taught 1/2 of what he was supposed to and blamed it on it being his 1st time teaching the course. Very whiny and unprofessional, half the time he complains about the TAs or department or the students. His exams were horrible at testing course knowledge, half the questions are on things he hasnt taught

Worst prof ever. Uses 10 year old overheads during class and reads them. Buddy, I can do that myself! And don't get me started with his cell phone calls during class and with him justifying a hard test with "this stuff is fundamental. In England, they teach this stuff in high school". This guy is detached with what goes on in the real world!
