Comment:

Professor Begley is the best. Intro to Comm can be very boring but his sense of humor and the way he applies theories to real life situations makes things very interesting. He is extremely funny and sarcastic, but also cares a lot about his students and their success.

Professor Begley is amazing. He cares about his students and wants everyone to do well. There are a few papers during the semester, but they are very short, no more than 2 pages. Also, you don't have to buy the textbook. Highly recommend taking him for an easy com class.

Very down to earth guy. Pretty funny. Answer questions and he will love you. Really cares. Barely any hw, but a few short papers to write (1-2 pages). no midterm and an oral final. Tells you not to buy the book.

He is by far the best professor in the Communication department. He tells hilarious stories and is overall a saint. He always wants the best for his students and even brings in treats for special occasions. If you have the opportunity to take a class with him, jump on it! It will be a decision you won't regret!

Prof. Begley is awesome. He's the reason I'm no longer afraid to give presentations. His class is very straightforward and he gives great advice for the class and life in general. He also cancels class a lot and on presentation weeks you only have to show up once which is nice.

Great teacher and is very open to whatever the students want. He canceled class a ton which was nice and he was very happy and had a lot of life experience and told lots of stories. The speeches were easy to do and I was never nervous to present. Overall super leanant teacher!

I loved his class! He has a ton of life experiences that he shares with the class. He is a great guy and professor. His class is super easy as well. You have two easy actual homework assignments and the rest of the homework is writing and preparing speeches. There are 2 non-graded, 2 impromptus, one written speech, and a final speech. Easy A!

Really like Prof Begley the first couple of days of class. However, after a while it became apparent that he chose a few favorites from the class and if you weren't one of them he really didn't pay attention to you. Overall though good guy, the class itself sucked but definitely wasn't his fault.

one of the best at marist, asks you what you want to do in the class, very flexible, uses lots of real world examples from his experience, very funny, allows much creativity on projects and grades fairly, hardly use the book, but when he quizzes on the book it's an easy 100, easy A while still learning a lot about the advertising business
