It was a struggle honestly. You are basically self-teaching yourself and its either you get it or you don't with the textbook and PowerPoint. Fortunately, I started to get it towards the middle, but after this, I will not be taking another online class in a long time.

read the textbook and powerpoint, and you should be fine. weekly quizzes/assignments. 2 midterms and 1 final. as long as you read the textbook, quizzes are actually not that hard. he also offers practice problems for quizzes/tests. the practice problems help a lot as the questions are similar. make sure to do the problems before taking the quiz!

The class was okay. Very boring. He gets snippy about talking during class. His quizzes are fairly easy, his tests are fairly challenging. He says he gives pop quizzes but he doesn't, he always announces them. I wouldn't take him again, but I anticipate getting somewhere between a B- and a B+

I took the online summer version of the course. Highly recommended. Grading was a short weekly quiz, midterm, and final. You had multiple attempts at each and a generous time limit. Material was straightforward and easy to understand. Workload was reasonable and tests were fair. This is the best class that I've ever had. I got an A.

Took his online class and it was fairly easy but annoying. Hardly any work was needed for class but there were many technical glitches that were a result of him not being computer savvy and he was hard to reach through e-mail so that caused some stress. He was understanding though. Easy grader overall, but the quizzes and tests were hard.

Hes a good professor! He makes sure that we kno the material for tests by givin quizzes. He tells you when the quizzes are & what's on it. He gives a total of 6-7 quizzes but chooses the best 4 toward ur class grade. He gives 1 midterm and 1 final-on concept&math problems. He curves the tests based on how the class does. I suck @ math n i got an A.

I learned a lot, helped in my own investing portfolio. He teaches us a lot through Yahoo Finance which is nice. Tests are very fair if you study, there is a lot of math but he teaches it to you thoroughly. Overall, good experience, great professor (he might get moody sometimes if you talk).

Excellent professor who knows his finance well. He's very enthusiastic about the material and is not afraid to show it. Tests are very easy if you glance at the PowerPoints beforehand. Easy A.
