mixed feelings about this prof. Course was 5 tests, lowest mark dropped and optional final, which I like. however she wasn't always clear on the test material and was very specific. She expects you to be very good at french grammar. If you study a lot and go to class you should do okay.

This course was entirely made up of 5 tests. She would drop your lowest mark and then the final was optional. It is very important to go to her class because she says a lot of little notes that will very likely appear on exams. She does go fast and her notes are not the greatest, however if you attend and participate you should be able to do well.

Terrible prof. Goes way to quickly in the course. Does not teach simply expects you to know it. Has unrealistic standards for tests and often times will blindside you with material not covered in class. Hardly someone who desires for her students to succeed.

I really enjoy this professor. She is approachable and kind but she does make you work for your grade. Make sure you attend class and take notes or else you will not succeed. She teaches you the little things about French that makes you better understand the language. My only beef with her is that she goes so fast!

Amazing prof! Would recommend her to anyone doing this course. If you go to class and pay attention, the tests are not hard and she grades very fairly. She'll drop your lowest mark so it's very easy to get a good grade. She can be a little intimidating but wants the best for students and is very helpful. Just wants you to speak up in class.

Go to class! Everything she says can and will be tested. She's a very nice lady and will help you however she gets carried away and can go VERY VERY fast. If you did not get something in class, go see her! She's very approachable. Drops the lowest mark and gives an optional final.

Go to class or you will be sorry. She speaks very quickly and you need to write non-stop to keep up with her. She is very kind and respectful but what she expects of you for tests can be a little unclear. Study everything and practice with a dictionary and you will be fine. If you do not know something, go to her. She is very approachable.

Such a great French prof. Very helpful, and wants you to excel. 5 tests, drops your worst mark, and the final is optional. Highly recommend her as a prof.

I had her for 3101 and for 4101. She covers similar material in both so the second time around it's a breeze. She does speak a little quickly but she has the most amazing grading scheme and is VERY clear about what she will be testing on. Plus for some tests she lets you bring in a dictionary!

Very good prof! Lectures could be boring, but students who attended frequently got bonus marks. Tests were fair and she always drops the lowest test marks. She's also a very nice lady, and very helpful. Not very strict with due dates. Translation can be a hard course, but she made it easy to do well!

Such a sweet lady! This course is supposed to be pretty difficult, but she makes it easy. Lowest test score is dropped and final exam is optional. Tests are pretty easy. Class can be pretty boring as she just reads out of the text book, but overall I highly recommend this course taught by her.

Very easy prof if you read the books. She basically just reads out from the book in class and her tests are really easy (final exam optional!). She's really nice and lenient, so it's pretty hard to do bad in this class.

I thought she was fantastic! Great grading scheme (5 tests, drops one. you can opt out of the final). She does speak fast and doesn't use give a whole lot of notes, but she explains very clearly what will be on each test. Also boosts your mark up if you go to conversation class! (so do it!). Favourite french prof by far.

I'm kind of surprised so many people are saying good things about this prof. She speaks far too fast, and scribbles on the board and erases it before anybody can write it down. The tests are hardly relevant to the material covered in class. She has no marking scheme and gives NO reasons for marks given, not to mention she blatanly plays favorites!

I don't know what's wrong with people who are saying she is good.. she's too fast, doesn't answer questions, slops 3 words on the board for about 2 seconds and then gives you a 20% test on it, doesn't teach anything useful.. DONT GET HER FOR 3101!

Fantastic prof. Yes, her course is hard, but manageable if you come to class and do the work. Brilliant woman and readily available for extra help. If I can help it, I'll take every course she's teaching for the rest of my french major degree. If you are taking your education seriously and want to have some fun, I recommend her.

Nice woman, however I still dont think i really learned much from her... Covered a lot of things in class that, although would be useful if someone wanted to get into deep conversations in French, were not relevant to the course outline and the tests... I found the tests never corresponded with what we did in class...otherwise, no real complaints
