She is very easy and the class is easy...As long as you can stand being talked to like you are five. She means well, and is very nice, but you hardly do anything in class so prepared to be bored, but get an easy A as long as you do all the work.

Very nice lady. She means well but sometimes it can get annoying. Class is boring but all you do is sit in a circle and discuss stories you read the nice before. She drops your lowest test grade and gives extra credit.

nice Asian teacher, very helpful, calls on you a lot if you don't participate, LOTS of readings, few grammar quizes, 5 essays. if you miss class you will fall behind. very nice and personal though. during class you only discuss grammar and the HW which was 2 or 3 readings

This class was fairly easy for those with a strong English background, especially in writing papers. Classes seemed slow and were spent mostly discussing readings or grammar, which can be frustrating to those wishing for a faster pace and more learning. However, Mrs. Chang was extremely helpful during office hours, discussing all questions.

Prof. Chang is a very nice woman and means well but this class is SO boring. It warps you back to HS and she expects you to participate at 8am. The journals are a pain and she talks about nothing sometimes. The essays are mostly graded on grammar rather than content.

I liked her as a teacher. She is, like alot of people say, really really, nice. The journal, which is a paragraph about your thoughts on everything we read is the hardest thing in the class, but if you do it after you read the book, the class is extremely easy.

Sweet lady. She gives readings about every other class, but I swear they are like 5 pg's long! In the middle of the semester she collects an essay every week but they only have to be 2 pg's, and she gives easy topics to write about.

FAR TOO MUCH WORK FOR A GENED, don't be tricked into this class like me. I got a B but I had to put more work into the class than I planned to. Chang doesn't let students slide with lateness and is tough on homework that doesn't even count for a grade. If the people in your class are idiots good luck with 'peer editing.'

EXTREMELY sweet woman. Quiet but very helpful, gives extensions for any reason. 6 papers (2 revisions) and a few very easy quizzes on grammar. Easy B+/A-. Have her proofread your papers and you'll get an A. Definitely recommend her.
