Really smart guy, but he doesn't understand that his students are not that smart and wont understand everything he says especially when he goes at the speed he does. The final was brutal i spent hours and hours studying and barely passed. The class average was a fail. and don't bother buying a textbook we didnt use it once.

Boring class. Monotone voice. He is very intelligent and knows his subject, he just doesn't explain it clear unless you attend the study halls after. It is a hard class, questions for final are all used from examples online and quizzes. Attendance is manditory. Final was very hard.

BORING. Labs were like going to the torcher chamber. They didnt help.he would give you a question on the board and would just stare waiting for you to it answer it..when you didnt have a clue. I WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER CLASS WITH HIM. very smart..but does not have the patience or take the time and teach it to you. MONOTONE VOICE..U will fall asleep

Terrible! I studied so hard only to discover that he had decided to use only the questions labelled as DIFFICULT for the final so my efforts were certainly not rewarded. If you are in one of his classes I suggest leaving while you still can!

His classes aren't that exciting - its econ.... - but he is fun to have as a teacher! Random stories that come of out no where... Entertaining! Fair and fun... extremly helpful! Will listen to any concerns a student has about an assignment, a test etc. Very good prof!

By far the worst teacher i EVER had. Do not ask him any questions because you'll be more confused than before! Intelligent guy (it seems), BUT he cannot convey ANY of his intelligence to his students. Made a final exam but one of the questions was INCORRECT! There was no right answer! He never double checked it!

Vlad was my favourite teacher and I did so well. If you go to every class and the lab you'll get an A. Use the Q: drive and stay after the break for surprise quizes. Fun guy, interesting to talk to and debate with.

Enjoyed Vlad's teaching style immensely. Appreciate, particularly at a 4th level, the requirement for self-directed exploration of subject, followed by discussion (as opposed to lecture). Too often, courses require exploration of the minutia of the subject rather than the overhanging constructs. Economics should not be such a course.
