Prof H is a different kind of professor. Sometimes has the attitude that the material is just obvious and gets annoyed when students don't understand right away. Tests are mostly irrelevant to the course. Just read BEFORE class and do book probs and you will do ok. Otherwise you will be sorry. He is a generous grader who curves massively.

Power systems and Steady State analysis is a tough course and of course it gets challenging but Prof. Hubbi makes it doable. I would genuinely recommend him and I would say- Please read before the class, ask him questions, don't skip lectures, do the homework and you will be fine. It's an excellent learning opportunity.

If you're doing the power track, try to take classes that he doesnt teach(600lvl courses), you have to score perfect scores in order to get an A, for some reason he doesn't like to help students and never gives a straight answer, spends good portion of the class trying to explain/solve problems using matlab,

He tries to be clear, but the material is hard to understand. You have to read the book to understand the material. He makes the course harder: the solution manual is wrong so trying to understand the material thought HW is tough. He does has office hour, which he HELPS. Test are not fully relevant to HW.

He is a good professor, funny at times as well. The material is not easy to comprehend. There is a lot of studying to do for this course if you want to earn an A. Study the handouts he gives and the homework as well. Do not rely on previous exams, he changes them every semester.

A very good instructor, you need to do the homework correctly and neatly, whatever hands outs he gives you is probably going to be in quizzes or tests. Also try to participate in the class even once or twice during the semester to just show him that you are interested and you will be fine. I got an A even though I did very very bad in the final.

Everybody is always complaining that he is unnecessarily hard, its power, its supposed to be hard. Suck it up. He does what he can to help, if you show an interest, go to him during his office hours, and DO ALL THE HOMEWORK you can get a B or maybe an A.

I think this guy is great he is a great teacher and loves the subject he is really very good his tests are hard but if u pay attention u will learn it and if u do the homework he helps u alot and if u dont understand a thing just go for extra help TAKE HIM
