If you actually study for this class and pay attention, you will pass. I like Prof. Holmes and even though he can occasionally go on tangents, he is very knowledgable and willing to help his students outside of class. He begins the semester telling you what you have to do to succeed in his class; pay attention to his suggestions and you'll do fine.

I actually like this guy, those most dont. He blantantly tells you what you need to know, offers a letter grade curve, and comprehensive tests so you can constantly improve your grade. I like it, because with all this, I think he actually wants everyone to pass. Actually study, you'll do fine.

I had Holmes for 1305 and 1306. I wish i had gotten out of the 1306 class while i still had a chance. He has no structure, no reviews, you teach yourself EVERYTHING.. and no matter how much you study the tests are very tricky.

Very unhelpful. Half the class will fail the tests, he likes to trick you multiple times on tests. Worst professor I have had at Baylor...I can even say I respect him as a person. He goes on and on about nothing while skipping test material...good luck
