Walter Mara is an excellent math instructor. He takes individual time with all students and amkes his examples very clear. If you fail his class it is most likely because of a lack of studying, not a lack of skill on his part.

I didn't learn a thing in the class and passed with a C. I completed the entire MarioKart game on Gameboy advanced. I do know how to use a calculator because of that class. Have trouble with everything else in math though.

Hard to understand, he loves to go on tangents about how to use graphing calculators. He handed out like a 25 page tutorial on it, actually. The tests and and final was all open book/notes. Not difficult to do well.
