When I asked my 11 classmates what they've learned, they said they don't know. Professor Oi knows a lot of stuff but has a hard time presenting them. To make matters worse there are no TAs in his class. At least the curve is huge, my paper has a 9 out of 20 and my grade was still an A-.

Brilliant man! Not a lot of technical Econ in this course. He has the best stories, some of which are meaningless. He may seem to blab on and get sidetracked but if you pay attention he does an excellent job of presenting the material. Something about his inflection makes him a great story teller, not necessarily a lecturer.

No offense to Professor Oi, but he may be going senile. He rambles about nonsensical issues, rarely addresses anything pertinent, has no outline for the class curiculum whatsoever, and grades the vague essays he assigns on a mind-bogglingly unfair level. His classes are a waste of time and he will TAX YOUR SANITY GUARANTEED. AVOID HIS CLASSES.

He's obviously a brilliant man but, sadly, a horrible teacher. Class was pointless and he constantly grumbled about his government days and his brushings with famous people; he never taught anything that he assigned. Luckily, he grades generously and the class curve was HUGE
