very smart and ties the material to real world. He uses powerpoint and prints out notes for you to follow along in class. Online homework is relevant and easy to earn a perfect score. He is direct/blunt which can be intimidating but he TRUELY cares that you are understanding the concepts. He is also hysterical if you like dad humor.

The fact that Loyola still lets this man teach is confusing to me. I've never reviewed a teacher before but if you are thinking about one of his classes I would say you should probably transfer to another school to avoid him. Loyola needs to do something about this.

This is the only warning you need: DO NOT ALLOW HIM TO BE YOUR PROFESSOR. He is by far the worst professor in Sellinger. His presence in the business school is a blight on its overall reputation. This man has awful teaching skills and an awful character as well. If you value your GPA or your career you will not allow this man in your schedule.

Not one to rate professors, but he is possibly the worst professor I've ever had in my school career. Makes each student pay over $100 for his own textbook that contains no useful information about the course or equities. Doesn't explain things properly. Do not take him unless you want to suffer the entire semester

I'm not one to complain about a class, but I felt that it was my obligation to everyone on this website to inform them about how HORRIBLE Dr. Reinhart is. He refuses to give example problems or an answer key for a study resource. He does not prepare you at all for the tests or for the finance world in general. Equities is important SO DONT TAKE HIM

Worst class I've ever taken. Reinhart makes you buy his self published and poorly edited book. The book is vague and uninformative. Tests are based on opinion, but only giving his opinion as an answer is acceptable. Unhelpful when asked questions. Digresses in class constantly. Gave advice on using off shore bank accounts. Don't take this man.

Even if Finance is your major, do not take this man. You will suffer as I have suffered. Worst class I have ever taken in my life. Everything you need to know about him can be found in the previous reviews. No need for me to reiterate them.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! The worst professor I have ever had. He is very unclear and is awful explaining anything he teaches. When you ask him how to do better on the test, he just tells you that you need to study harder which is NOT helpful at all. STAY CLEAR OF THIS CLASS!

He expects that you are already familiar with everything he is saying such as complex equations and concepts so I had to teach myself everything. Literally one of the worst professors I've ever had I was shocked to see he even reached the overall score of a 2 on here Also his power points are fill in the blank from his lecture so don't miss class

As Professor Reinhart's student in Portfolio Management GB722, I came to be very impressed with Dr. Reinhart as both a professor and a professional. Dr. Reinhart is smart as can be, DIRECT, and dedicated to his work.

Worst class I have taken at Loyola. Was not warned that the entire class would be online, include exams, yet we still had to attend class and take our exams on Sunday nights. Reinhart is not helpful at all and I basically taught myself everything. Content on exams was nothing like the homework so beware and stay clear of this class.

Worst professor I've ever had. He doesn't answer questions or explain anything clearly. His powerpoints make no sense. Class is basically an online class. All homework, quizes, and exams are online. Highly advise against taking this class.

Worst class ever. If you want to major in finance don't take this class because you won't learn a single thing. His slides have nothing to do with the book. He gives an insane amount of homework each week - basically an online class.

Terrible doesn't even begin to describe it. This has been the worst MBA class I have had. Dr. Reinhart may very well be an expert in the field but is unable to convey principles in a manner that facilitates learning. The textbook was awful! He also based 50% of the grade on a project for which he gave very little instruction. Disappointing!

Might as well have been an online course. Professor had absolutely no interest in the class. Refused to help fix any errors that resulted from his need to use a terrible online program (all because he didn't want to have to run a scantron)

Lectures do not help clarify information. Online homework and quizzes are unnecessarily confusing. Had to take every exam late on Sunday nights. MindTap, the program used for quizzes, tests, and homework is unreliable. Worst class I've taken in 4 years

This is the worst class I have taken in the MBA program. The professor spends the 2.5 hour class time lecturing about his political and world views. He changes the requirements as outlined in the syllabus and believes in only providing one grade at the end of class, so you have no idea how you are progressing during the semester. Terrible teacher.
