Tom is really intimidating from far away but he's actually hilarious. He taught me better than anyone how to draw well and quickly (and model of course), good studio to take if you are looking to test your limits. I felt like I could do anything afterwards.

He's sort of like the Chef Ramsay of Carleton Architecture. He expects a lot from you and he wants things done a certain way. If you can't take that, then you really won't be able to handle the real world. Tom is passionate, insightful, surprisingly pragmatic, and inspiring. The day he dies is the day the Carleton Architecture school dies.

Dubicanac is an absolutely phenomenal professor. Despite his crude humor and sometimes ambiguous advice, he knows how to push his students to new levels of discovery and learning. On top of that, if you don't take his crazy rants too seriously, he actually ends up being the most hilarious prof in the Architecture school.

Love this man. Bribed him with Czech dumplings and Grappa for a passing grade. He's is to the Carleton architecture experience what Mic Jagger is to music. I'm still saving to own one of his paintings just to say I got a piece of him.

The best prof at Carleton. After his studio, I had more self-confidence and was better able to fight for my work. Insightful critic, very sharp. Understands what you are trying to achieve, without your explanations. If you are passionate, and committed you will learn alot.
