This was an online course, different from other math courses but I enjoyed it. It helps that Professor Rothaug is very organized. Chapter tests, one paper, and a few discussions. He truly cares about his students as he gives opportunities to improve their grades. Would recommend!

I took his course online. It was not his fault I found this course so difficult, but the material which is required on the online textbook. I dreaded each assignment and the tests, because I was so unsure whether I was going to pick up the information or not. This class will make or break you. Did not receive more than a B on any test.

Comment:

Definitely different from any other math class Ive had. It was interesting and it not only taught you about the logic way to think it made you think outside the box. If you follow each section and communicate with the other students on moodle you will do fine. I had a hard time with my moodle account and because of that I started late.

He gives a big work load for an online class, this was my last class needed to graduate and I chose online to have more freedom with work. The workload was ok however the papers got overwhelming. Great information though, if you like math and how math applies to real-life, take this class. Get ready to read & write!

As long as you keep up with the work it is easy to get good grades. Professor Rothaug is super fair and gives more than enough opportunities to make sure you can get a good grade. There are two chances to take the tests as long as attempted before the due date and will even give opportunity to take the tests once for a short period after due date.

Dr. Rothaug, is a great guy. He is understanding and fair and as long as you do the work expected and stay on task you will do well in this class. He was very funny in his emails and a very nice teacher. I will definitely take him again.

Professor Rothaug is a very nice guy. He is positive and you can tell that he is passionate about his craft. There is a lot of work that is slightly time consuming. Being that this is an online course, it is very important to do everything by the due dates. As long as you do all of your assignments, you will do just fine! I would take him again!

Have to get familiar with MyMathLab. A lot of homework and very test-heavy, but if you do well you can pass. The tests are about 70% of your grade and can be very hard. Not an easy A kind of class.

In his online Contemporary course he did a great job communicating with students. His emails are funny sometimes. Caring, and gives you enough time to complete your assignments. Very good teacher. Would take again if I could and I would recommend him.

I took this course online while working full time so it was very work heavy, you need to stay on top of your work! Other than that the course is fairly okay, not too easy but not too difficult, if you stay on your work load and use time management this course should be fine!

The class was good. I was scared to take an online course, but Professor Rothaug makes things clear. The class used moodle and MyMathLab. The course was consistent.
