Math isn't my best subject but its my most favorite subject. His level of clarity and explanation is beyond amazing. Despite the grade I received I still to this day remember how to do everything he expected of us in class. If you want a legitimate A graded understanding on calculus, this is the man to go to! I took this in Fall semester.

Best Teacher Ever. Would recommend him any day for a calculus class. His Test are easy if you do the practice problems he assigns at the end of every class. He will answer your questions with another question. PS: Do the extra credit he offers it really helps.

i did not like how he respond when i ask a question, but i always answer him i don't know until he start explain to me. overall his tests were not bad, and final he let us choose what kind we want. He dropped one test because most of us did bad. drop 2 lowest lab, i got an A for this class.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Relies way too much on course compass and has an unreal expectation of how much work one should be doing outside of class. Talks way too fast and teaches as if everyone should already understand this

I am shocked that there are some people saying that they actually LIKED this man. He is not only a terrible teacher, but he loves to belittle students and make them feel dumb for asking questions. I'm actually great in math but I made my first C at CFCC ever by taking this class. DROP it! He's a terrible teacher!

Absolutely terrible. Will not work with students whatsoever. Relies way too much on the CourseCompass website/software. Teaches you the easiest problems in class and gives you the hardest problems on the test. I'd rather have my arms and legs chopped off than spend one more second in his dull, poorly taught class.

VERY bad teacher. Does not explain info, expects you to know it. Sarcastic and does not answer quetions if he does it is with a question. Belittles and tries to make you feel stupid. Taking this online would be better than having him as a teacher. Very arrogant! Stay away from his classes!

Mr Walters' personality is an acquired taste. He scares many students off, but if you get to know him he makes class a lot of fun. Overal he is a very good instructor, but if you ask a question don't be suprised if you get one back.

I had him for brief calc. and he was wonderful, I dont know why others have bad mouthed him, he was never rude to me of anyone else. The test and overall work was normal. He even offered extra credit, a take home test and let us choose what kind of final we wanted. I reccommend him for any calc. class. I'm glad he was my teacher.

I had Mr. Walters for Calc 1 and Calc 2 and he is responsible for giving the confidence I needed and lacked in myself. He is the most awesome person I have ever met and the best teacher I ever had. Those math classes were the best times i my life and I often think about it and would love to take up the study again. He is amazing.

I took him for calc 1 & 2 a few years back and he's one of my favorite teachers I've ever had. I think its hilarious how he "belittles" people. You have to understand his personality and realize there is no reason to be offended by it. Wasn't all that good of a teacher but he was incredibly easy. I thought I was going to fail and he gave me an A.

I did not like him at first, but then I realized he just a different personality. He jokes but people take it as rude. I'm horrible at math, so I would like harder examples in class,cause the homework is hard.He knows his stuff, and he grades easy on tests. My view on him has changed. He is a smart man and he is fair, just study and you will be ok.

He is very intimidating. He is not very friendly or helpful. Made me scared to ask questions. He would answer questions with a smart remark or tell you to refer back to the review chapter in your book. HE NEVER ANSWERS QUESTIONS with out making you feel stupid. He doesnt have any passion for teaching and I wonder why he is a teacher. Dont take him.

Class was okay for me. I had taken this class years ago too though so I was re-learning. A lot of other students had trouble with this instructor because he didn't seem to have very good social skills when it came to not making fun of those who weren't as brilliant as him.

I struggle with Math but managed to get an "A" in the prerequisite for this course. Instructor saw me in math lab every week - he was on duty and would not come over to offer help even after I asked him something specific; I went and worked on it until the next person came on duty & then they explained it. Hard on students & confusing in class.
